Evergreen String Academy is a Suzuki Talent Education Program that offers lessons for violin and viola. As a program we are committed to providing a nurturing environment for students to learn in while maintaining excellence in quality and education. Lessons can start for students as young as 3 years old up through high school. Providing a well-rounded education, ESA takes students through a journey of music making from a sound pedagogical foundation to the highest advanced levels of playing.
As a Suzuki Talent Education Program, we follow many guidelines founded by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki in his method. We know that every child who wants to play a musical instrument CAN learn and each child will learn and grow at their own pace and to their greatest ability. Music has long been known to be an enriching and important aspect of child's growth and whether students study music as children, through high school, or professionally into adulthood, the the skills that are developed through this education are relevant across all professions.
Through music, children learn skill of problem solving, dexterity, language, communication, listening, problem solving, and through group classes additional skills in team work and learning with peers.
We have a rare experience of having taught across cultures and languages and the power that music gives in communication and community is amazing to see. We are excited for what this program will bring to the Anoka area and the many ways we can learn to play and grow together!
